Foals of 2011

EM Wintermaske really made us wait for her Bugatti Hilltop 2011 foal. Balanchine, a full brother to EM Ballerina finally arrived March 22nd and he was certainly worth the wait. A black colt with the usual Wintermaske chrome is a charming fellow with very good movement.

Balanchine is not for sale at the present.

EM Diva produced another wonderful foal by Blu Hors Romanov January 30th, 2011. Rococo is a full sibling to Prosperity Farm's Rara Avis and our own Romanesque. He is a flashy fellow who shows signs that he will shed out a liver chestnut. He has the usual outgoing, friendly and easy Romanov personality.

EM Wolkenstanza produced another superb embryo transfer foal by Rousseau February 24th, 2011. Renoir is a full brother to our outstanding 2009 colt Reflektion. He equals his brother in movement and beauty, which makes him an outstanding colt, one of the best we have ever produced.

EM Wolkenstanza's produced a second embryo transfer foal March 24th 2011. Segovia is by Stedinger, the sire of two of Wintermaske's offspring, Soliloquy and Scorpio. A coal black colt of great beauty, Segovia is also an outstanding mover, perhaps the best she has produced.

Quantum TheorySPA Püppi (Prince Thatch xx/ Argentan/ Abend) produced a bay colt by Quaterback April 30th. Quantum Theory is very elegant, elastic, with big movement. He is an outstanding colt, with Quaterback's elasticity and suspension, along with an excellent walk from his Prince Thatch mother.

Rohanna produced a beautiful black colt by Wolkentanz I April 12th 2011. Word of Honor is another full sibling to Wolkenstanza. Time will tell, but for now Honor reminds me tremendously of Stanza at the same age. He has the same harmonious conformation, balance and suppleness that Stanza displayed at an early age.

Rubizza produced a lovely black colt by Fabuleux May 6th. He looks to be even nicer than her previous Fabuleux youngster, Fantastica. Fable is tall, very well put together, very friendly and exhibits a really outstanding canter.

EM Dominique produced an embryo transfer colt by the wonderful young Belissimo M son Benidetto March 17th 2011. Benitas was a flashy, long legged chestnut. He was one of the best movers we have ever produced. He had Dominique's friendly and easy personality.

Tragically, we lost little Beni at a month of age to a colonic ulcer that could not be cured.

Kabibi produced an elegant black colt by Hotline March 28th 2011. Haiku is one of the very best Hotline youngsters I have ever seen. He is tall, typey and has great presence. Hotline's first foal crop is now under saddle and showing tremendous potential and rideability.

We lost this beautiful colt to a fatal side effect caused by a medication when he was a little over a month old.

Frolichkeit produced a wonderful bay filly by Hotline March 29th 2011. Halcyon was a full sister to Haley, a wonderful 2010 Hotline filly bred by another breeder who had leased Fro and used Hotline. Halcyon showed the same powerful push from behind and freedom that the first Hotline had. She also had a strong presence and look at me attitude. I believe she was Fro's best foal to date and equaled the best fillies that I have produced. Hotline's first foal crop is now under saddle and showing tremendous porential and rideability.

Very tragically, Halcyon was injured and had to be euthanized in June.
