SPS Blanche A

SPS Blancje

SPS Blanche A was added in 2002 to the Home Again Farm mare band and sold in 2005. Blanche was a 1995 German Hanoverian States Premium Mare, by Bon Bonaparte, out of World Lady, a World Cup I/Grande mare. Blanche's damline is an extremely important one, as it is responsible for three different stallion dynasties – Brentano I and II, Garibaldi I and II, and Wolkenstein I and II. Her maternal grand-dam is the mother of the stunning Weltmeyer son White Star. This mareline has produced performance horses, states premium mares, auction horses and many licensed stallions. It is an old and historic line.

Blanche gave us a 2004 Regazzoni colt, a gorgeous, tall chestnut with lots of chrome and the sweetest, easiest temperament. Visit Rokstarr on his own page. He sold at the tender age of five days to our friend Elizabeth Howell, who had waited patiently for years for us to make her a tall colt, built to order! See him below at two. Now, as a five year old, he is happily and willingly showing and cleaning up in dressage, with numerous area awards at Training and First Level.

Blanche was bred to Fabuleux in 2004. She gave birth to an elegant, dark bay filly June 2005. Very tragically, the filly Fabulessa was lost July 8th to an unknown central nervous system trauma. She is pictured below just a few weeks before we lost her.
