Enjoyed your website. Danielle Zeveney directed me to look at your site, as she told me about her visit the other day. I look forward to meeting you some day soon......although I presently have a Trakehner mare right now, I also had a Hanoverian gelding who was as wonderful as they come....he gave me my first "9" in competion as well as my first "2". He definitely had a sense of humor!!! His name was Schelm...roughly translated Brat!! Scorpio is gorgeous!!

hello i was reading and looking all over your page because a couple days ago i thought my mare was a westfalen/quarter horse as i was told this when i bought her but i recently talked to the guy who bred her (who i did not buy her from) and found out she is hannpverian.arab and seh is by Der Radestsky. she is a wonderful mare only 15.1 but can jump the moon and is a wonderful dressage horse i event her to so she really is a great mare. she is grey of course and almost 10 and still dappeled with a black mane and tail i hope she never loses that but she will. i can send pictures of her if you want her for your offspring page. Nice website & beautiful horses. I am looking to replace my 20yo Trakehner gelding, but since I just graduated from college, I only have about $3,000 or less to spend. But if anyone has a horse (preferably warmblood/sport horse) that they would sacrifice for that price just to get a really good home & lots of love & attention, please let me know. I will have free board at my barn apartment & will be the one caring for it every day. Keep up the great work & I hope to attend a clinic soon!

I was directed to your website from your post on The Chronicle forum about the pony foal of Renee Weedon's (Stonefield Farm) because I noticed that you are from the Southeast. You have some very nice horses. I really like the Bugatti filly. I hope she continues to improve. Sounds like you have had your hands full with foal problems this year. We had our Ferro filly in the vet hospital for 5 days so I know where you are coming from. Can you tell me more about the trainer that starts your horses? I think her name was Maya?? Where is she located? What is her experience? Thanks, Nancy Cottle Harmony Farm Titus, AL

I have visited your site for the first time today but it brought back memories of a terribley missed partner in life. Her name Annie and she was a Hannovarian/Trehkaner cross. Bold and beautiful she was and like you say in your about us page she is someone truley missed. I have not ridden in the tweleve years since I had to part with her and find the memories painful at times. She and my other horse were my life and I could never get enough. When it came to going out and doing our dressage lesson she was one of a kind. It was as if you were floating on air and nothing could ever stand in the way. Her gaits were forever flowing forward and like rocking in a chair. I have enjoyed your dite and shall visit it often. YOu have brought back that missiing element in my life that I need to help me smile once in a while. Julie B

Roh's little filly is just precious. She is very independent, and likes to make friends with everything. While standing in her stall the other day, I watched her trying to move that big oak tree by the gate. It seemed to me that she was trying to tell it, "move out of my way cause this is my spot!" She was very lady like and patient about it, and when she did not get the result she wanted, she grunted a bit and found something else to go talk too. She smells so good, is so soft and pretty, and her momma is such a great mare. I feel so lucky to be around your wonderful mares and help you at such a wonderful farm. xx00

Site changes look great. I must be getting to work on mine. It is becoming a bit dated. Have been quite busy this year, working with Lili Weik covering HITS Ocala, a marathon but an amazing tune up, and now off to shoot a Pebble Beach show on the Monterey Peninsula in California with Deb Dawson. Its nice to be having new opportunities, but I hope you will still have me at your inspection as it is always an enjoyable event, at a lovely farm, and with the best lunches. I promise not to bring rain!

I love your pick of Papas & can't wait to pick your brain some more about breeding, feeding, etc. I'm going to call you soon about the protocol you told me you use for the frozen as I'm going through it again this year. I'm going to send you the pics of the new Rotspon foal when he/she arrives. My mother bets that it's a colt. I'm still holding out for a filly for the 3rd broodmare. Can't wait for you to see my Baroncelli filly again. She's all that & more. Keep up the great work you're doing. Once again it's really nice to get back into the breeding & meet a truly nice person who really does love her horses. I think I'll take a road trip & come see the new babes first hand. See you soon! Thanks again for a really fun inspection! Julie

I have a 3 year old Rotspon filly (brown) out of a xx mare (Loosen Up). I have also another Loosen Up mare that I wish to breed to the R line, and am likely to make a purchase of Regazzoni semen with the aim to generate a 2nd foundation mare of the R line. I am long reining my 3 yold Rotspon, although she is small (mature approx 16 hh) she moves well, has excellent conformation and good nature. Herr Loppe said to "repeat the cross" when he saw Ruby at 14 days of age, on his Australian tour of 2001. I am keen to learn about other breeders who have used the R line, to understand what sort of mares this line crosses to well. Regards, Marg Killalea.

I own a 3 year old stallion sired by Regazzoni. He was recently approved and licensed by the CWBHBA. He won the three year old class and then won the rideability class over 7 and 8 year olds with a guest olympic level rider. His name is Royal Mount DVM....aka as Timbit. His jumping ability is phenominal....I purchased him from the RCMP whe bought his well bred dam from Germany who at that time was bred to Regazzoni and then imported to Canada. He reminds me of Ransom.

Dear Mary Lou, I can't tell how impressed I am by your horses and also by your marvellous web site. I got to your site because I was looking for the sire (Wallstreet by Weltmeyer / Donnerwetter) of my 3-year-old filly (her name is Wizardry (Whizzy)). I know he has been sold to America but I cannot find anything about him in the internet. As he's an Hanoverian I thought you might know him (maybe he was named differently?). I really do admire your success in breeding and I happily notice that almost all your horses are related to Whizzy. Whizzy's sire Wallstreet was sired by Weltmeyer. Wallstreet's dam Denise was sired by Donnerwetter. Whizzy's dam was sired by Grundstein II (Graphit/Grande) and her grand mare by Thymian xx * Duellgraf. Whizzy is already 1.70 m and she looks very much like your Rohanna (same colour and all). She's got a wonderful walk and trot (canter seems to be ok, too, but she likes trotting better). I was thinking about breeding her this year. She was only born on 30-April-2000 but I very carefully started riding her a few weeks ago (she behaves excellent). Which stallion would be your choice for Whizzy? Please let me now. Kind Regards Verena (I apologize for all possible and impossible mistakes, please correct me if you like!)

I enjoyed your website. Such lovely horses! I especially think your choice of Sandra Hit as a sire is wonderful. What a horse. I have 2 dressage horses. I bought them in Germany but if I were to buy again, I definitely could find beautiful horses here in the U.S. at farms like yours. My gelding is a 7 year old Hanoverian by Cordoba X Aderlass and my mare is a 5 year old Oldenberg by Don Gregory X Eiger I. P.S. Rotspon my even be my favorite of all stallions. He and Relevant and Sandro Hit. I would be very interested in how your babies by Rotspon and Sandro Hit turn out.

Weltdancer is simply beautiful, along with all the other horses on your website. I purchased a black warmblood mare, named Monopoly, in mid 2002 and we are awaiting the arrival of her first foal - to Weltmeyer- in 5 weeks. Not the ideal time to have a foal, however! I am hoping that perhaps we might be blessed with a black filly! Not unlike your beautiful Weltdancer. Congratulations on a great website, Regards, Alison Stewart.

Very nice website and great info on bloodlines. Nice to see the strong G-line representation in your mares. I am expecting my first foal from my Grande granddaughter. I bred her to Rotspon. She has shown PSG and was training all GP movements prior to her maternity leave. Just moved to our little ranch on Maui in July of this year. The foal is expected any day now. Aloha

I have throughly enjoyed your site and your wonderful horses. My husband and I are just starting a small breeding program with Hanovarians, we plan to have one foal every year or every other year. I was very interested to see the get from the W-line. We are breeding right now to the G-line,(Guarantor- Grossfuerst&Anja) and hope to get a very nice filly to keep for future breeding. I have been researching the different lines and really like the W-line especially Weltmeyer! Your beutiful horses have really represented the Hanovarian breed well. Sincerely Laura Leja-Robinson

I also have a beautiful 5-year old son of Weltbekannt, but he has turned out to be so much more talented than I am that I am having him professionally trained and shown. I would love to buy a young horse from you for myself- I am only at training-one as a rider, but do have an excellent trainer- I hope you will keep me on your list of potential owners as your foals are born, or as they are tranferred to other farms for training. Thank you for a beautiful site- with best wishes, March

I am a very happy and proud owner of Dillanger Radetzky(from Der Radetzky). He is my first horse after 10 long years after being without. I first learned about Hanoverians from my father, he was raise outside of Colon, Germany on a large farm in the 30's and they used Hanoverians as light draft horses because of their endurance, strengh and noble temperment. he was very fond of them and was very warmmed when heard that I got apart of his heritage (he has always be a bit home sick) In other words we are very happy to have him and he will always be loved dearly

Hi. My friend, Reg Corkum, said I should visit your site. It's lovely and you have beautiful horses. He also suggested that I talk with Maya (I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I might butcher your last name). I have a small Dutch horse breeding farm and it seems, from reading the info on your site, that we have much the same goals and philosophies on breeding/training horses. Reg suggested that Maya might be a good trainer to work with my sensitive, seven-year-old Dutch stallion. Let's talk sometime. Lynn

Hi Mary Lou, just snooping and wanted to say that I got some rather nice shots of Maya riding on her horses after much waiting, as we had to wait for a skin disorder to clear, being off work for one reason or another and finally, it has all come together and the session went beautifully. Maya is a talented rider and has a particularly nice way with the horses which reflects in elastic, free and easy swinging gaits, a very attractive presentation, and from my stand point a pleasant view for any photographer. You are fortunate to have her as your trainer, and of course she in return is fortunate to have such nice horses to train. Hope to see you soon.

Hello, Somehow I surfed onto your homepage, saw the mares and the story about your horse Gipetto. I liked the way you wrote about him very much and that was the reason why I signed your guestbook. And: I like very much what you said about breeding: It is important to breed an animal with a great character, nice gaits. I share your opinion, that is is more important to breed constantly horses that everybody can ride and love than to try to run after the onces of a lifetime breeding of THE horse like an approved stallion, FEI horses. Have a lot of fun with you breeding. You seem to have success !

Hi Marylou! I just wanted to tell you that Dino sends his Christmas greetings to you and yours. He says that once he is a real Dressage horse doing all the fun stuff, he would like to come visit and show you what he knows :) He is lunging nicely and enjoying himself...we are taking things slow as he isn't as mature as we would like...YET! Dino is a wonderful wonderful wonderful horse...he is much loved and cherished. Love, Tracy and all the horses!!

Your horses are lovely. I am currently looking for a new horse to compete in dressage and upper level eventing. I compete at Second and Third level dressage and Preliminary eventing (hoping to move up to Intermediate). I am small and would like a horse between 15'3" to 16'2" and 4 to 9 years old. Please let me know if something strikes you as a good match. I have a fantastic horse for sale, but he's not a warmblood, so perhaps not something you could do anything with. He is a dapple gray, 17'1" Irish Draught gelding, competing at Prelim. eventing, foxhunts, and First level dressage. $25,000. Thanks!

Mary Lou, You have done it again....two beautiful fillies! Congrats! Now for the Wruffles update. She is wonderful. She just had her 2nd birhtday and is really beginning to look like her mom. I was looking at her in the field today thinking how much she was starting to look like Rubi and a friend shouted over that she though Wruffles was looking more and more like her mom everyday. I thought it was just me! I will be thrilled if she is half as beatiful as her mom. Thanks again for such a wonderful girl! Congrats again on the beautiful arrivals! Patti

Hello, We are a small Hanoverian bredding farm in Massachusetts. Currently we only have one broodmare a 5yo mare by Bordeaux out of my PSB mare "Etosha" who we lost on September 11th as a result of a pasture accident. I was very touched by your web site memorial as Etosha too was my very beloved favorite, whose shoes will never be filled. We were blessed with a absolutely georgeous filly by Grusus out of my 5yo mare Balise. She will now be kept as a future addition to our breeding program. She won her class at NEDA Breed show, was reseve champion filly and High score hanoverian. Balise (won NEDA Breed show broodmare class and was reserve champion mare) is now in foal to Arrian for 6/2001.

Hi Mary Lou.. Just thought I'd check in and see what was new at HAF! Frolichkeit (aka Frolick) is going great under saddle. I started schooling a little counter canter& of course that is no big deal for Ms. Fro. Collection is easy for her which makes her so ridable. Every day she amazes me at how easy things seem to be for her under saddle. Reading about all your beautiful babies on the way gives me the itch to breed her next year! hugs to the herd, Frolick and Theresa

I was just stopping by to see the site and was thrilled to see pictures of "Hansie", as we used to call Weltbekannt when I worked at Suzanne Quarles back in 1996-97!! He was always the sweetest horse in the barn, so much fun to play with, and I knew he'd make a great dressage horse and sire. I've been wondering how he's doing, and it's nice to know that his babies are right here in the area. I'd love to come over and visit sometime.

Hi Mary Lou! Here is the latest Wruffles update. At 17 months she is a gorgous 15.1.(she looks like her Mom) She has had her first sheet on and had no complaits about it at all. As with everything else she just does it like she has done it a million times. Thank you again for breeding such a "wonderful" filly.

Hi. Looking for an affecionate horse with jumping ability. I am 5.1, 30 yrs old. I am a bold rider with soft hands. I have two children (9 & 6) that also like to be around the horses. I would like to do A shows, but probably not travel out of state in the near future. Babies are ok from jumping lines. My budget is $10k. I would also need professional training if I purchased a baby. Do you have anything I may be interested in? Thank you for your time. Amie
